I've been spoiled having the "Preview" function on dA posts.   The latest glitch has made it necessary for me to either accurately visualize the code I'm entering (assuming I don't eliminate it altogether), or to be at peace with any goofy errors I might be posting.   'S a bit unsettling.   :O_o:

I thought it was just me that was having issues with that! It definitely is annoying. Sometimes I preview something two or three times before sending, so it's kind of a pain.

Now I just find myself crossing my fingers and hoping for the best! :noes:

Oh, thank gawd I'm not the only one who does that! :phew:

Yeah, this glitch is turning into an interesting study of self-confidence levels...

Oh yes indeed! I was an editor for a few years too, so I have that sort of stuff ingrained, I think ^^;

Well, at least you have your employment history as an alibi; I'm just compulsive!

Actually, I think I've always been this way... It was part of the reason I got the job to begin with!

I don't think it'll ever leave me. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, except when we have glitches like these ;)

Speaking of which, I think it's fixed!

Yep... and now the search bug is back. It must have something to do with dA's required bug quota or something. ;-)

Indeed. I'm also seeing a glitch with the stats for favorites. They all read "0" whenever I go to someone's deviation.

I guess all the glitches balance themselves out somehow :)

lol, yeah... maybe there has to be a certain number of small glitches present to hold back a great big one!

Well... more annoying than anything else. Like I said, I got used to being able to preview before hitting "Send", so I normally catch anything weird that I've typed by mistake.

Still, I think I'd rather have this glitch than the one where the search function doesn't catch new artwork in the system! :hmm:

I never previewed anything before dA, but I make such idiotic typos that now I've made a habit of it. Yeah, it's better to have this screw-up than not seeing new art.

Man, that glitch is so annoying! I use it a lot too. I like to look over what I've written to make sure my grammar is correct. I suppose we could be careless and type badly. . . I don't think it's worth it though.

lol.... who knows? It could be therapeutic to just type something out willy-nilly and hit "send", trusting in the Fates to see that it works. Sort of like an exercise in Zen...

Haha! I've done it before. . . Unfortunately Zen was never my strong point, and I ended up being repetitive in my sentences, and mis-spelling. . . It was a complete disaster. Reeeeeeeeeeeeally ugly sight, I suggest you never try it.

Hm, you're probably right. With my luck, my posts would degenerate into variants of "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy"...
