I love the Favs gallery function here.  Love it.   I was always the little (and not-so-little) kid picking up colorful rocks/shells/what-have-you, and just generally indulging the "Ooh, shiny!" portion of my brain, so having the option to have  works that I like on dA available on one page is fantastic.  :D

If you haven't already done so, please, have a look at my Favs.  Many, many people out there have some fantastic stuff that should be seen.   I don't even know who many of them are; I just know they've done things that've made me stop and say "Wow!!"   For that matter, have a look at anyone's Favs, just to see what inspires that person.   See how many strange places you can end up.  ;-)

YAY I bought the huge Vendetta-comicbook today, finally!! Eh, only 36,70e but hell it´s worth it! Read it immediately :psychotic: It ain´t in english but I didn´t mind.

What I notice about the comics was that the original script for the movie was way more similar to the them than the final movie version.. why the hec didn´t they shoot THAT instead :? The V in the movie is almost the opposite to Alan´s, no I understand even MORE why he hates the movie :(

I think the biggest reason they changed it was because the comic was originally written about a time that's already passed for us - the 1990s. The issues that Moore was discussing (Thatcherism in particular, but also the threat of a nuclear conflict) had already not turned out the way the comic projected, and so the storyline became a rather abstract "what if?" story - which doesn't sell movie tickets very well, alas. The Wachowski brothers also had to find a way to cram a novel's worth of information into about 2 hours' worth of movie - which always has mixed results. :hmm: I wish they'd kept more details from the comic in the movie as well, but I'm also just glad they made the movie at all; it meant that V got to reach that many more people. :-)

If someone's favorites gallery in anyway includes a picture of any man in black with a p__m ... ... then I want to know *nothing* about that person.
