Being a Fandom Old
I still exist, but it's been a while - several years, in fact!
And, having recently been inspired to draw again, I've made a discovery that's been a bit troublesome, but not insurmountable: Apparently, it's been long enough, and I am old enough, that my eyes have begun the transition into annoying farsightedness and I have trouble seeing things close up. :hmm:
I've been nearsighted since elementary school, to the point that anything beyond about 12 inches gets blurry. Now, though, anything closer than 12 inches while I'm wearing my contacts is blurry! Considering my normal drawing distance is about 7 inches from my work surface, that mak

It's a common refrain by now, but I'm not here all that often. Still, I do drop by from time to time, and I really appreciated the birthday wishes. :aww: I'll be putting up a story here that I (finally) finished, and then continuing to work on another that's been waiting to be completed for over a year now, ergh. I know I haven't been around here for a while, which I regret. RL has taken hold of me with a vengeance, and I don't know how for how long it will last. I'll just have to see when/how I come back to fandom and art.

I do not have displayed pageviews anymore, but I noticed that I cannot edit journals anymore (at least the new ones...) - I guess it has something to do with the Stash thing. Keeps popping up errors and honestly see no meaning of it... maybe I am too old for this *new* stuff...
