For "As is True for Most Things" by ~peahopeless.

' "I've been waiting for this," she murmured. ... No condemnation of the hand that cradled her face. No revulsion, or repulsion. Just relief over a moment long fought for. "I won't lie. I've needed to be able to touch you. The real you, even if only for a minute. ...'

Your Movie!Evey is always such a tender beauty. Looks very much like Miss Portman, too.
Amazing drawing, so full of emotion!

Thank you! It's a real challenge drawing a specific likeness, so it's a huge relief knowing she's recognizable. :)

Keep up the wonderful work I say!

V's hand looks so... awesome. Never ever do I think I'll ever be able to draw a hand like this... the texture of it or however you want to put it... and your shading... EK! I wish I could shade as well as you! I do!

I know we've been talking about this in private, but i wanted to say it here too. Beyond the praises from Paul on your improving ';Portman', beyond the "awws" that we're both cooing over here, and beyond that tilt of her head, and yes, how well you've matched the words, I want to put here that comment on his hands.

I'll say here, just what I said in private, because I can't tell you how pleased I am by it:
You've been studying the screen caps. Those closeups of his hands, particularly when he's cooking her egg. One of the first things I recognized on his hands here, is the dark spot just below the base of his thumb. I know that type of sore, because I've studied it so often myself. It's the same type of sore that's on the back of his hand in the closeup screen caps. It's the type of sore that produces the roughness I was discussing wayyyy back already in the story "Especially". That *was* the source of that description in Especially. That sore also agrees with the research we have on hypertrophic scars (eg. "His Second Favourite"). We're holding consistency, *and* consistency with what was clearly presented in those screen caps. *This* is why that sore below his thumb jumped out at me immediately. We really are on the same page here, and I can't tell you how I smiled, when I first muttered to Paul, "She's studying the screen caps. Do you see that? It's like the one on the back of his hand. She's doing the same tight, focused studying that I'm trying to do, of the same materials, while I'm trying to do the descriptions."

That sore is probably one of the most unexpected things to jump out of the pic so suddenly, but for *me*, it did, and that is why. I can't tell you how utterly pleased that makes me.

Yeah, it's a glitch that they're letting go, because they're apparently updating soon and it should take care of that particular bug. (*fingers crossed* :fingerscrossed:)
