looks very in step with the graphic novel's range of colors.
Thanks! Ever since I discovered that Dave Gibbons deliberately chose an unusual palette, I wanted to give it a try.
It looks to me as if you succeeded. I was playing Watchmen: End is Nigh last night so it too uses this particular style in its motion comic cut scenes. Part One has the Underboss as the main antagonist and Part Two looks like it has the Twilight Lady as the main antagonist.
I had debated getting that game once upon a time, but I'm just not enough into video games. Still, I've liked the stills I've seen from it.
I went to it first out of curiosity and because Rorschach is a playable character. I'd recommend it for the Rorschach voice overs done in the style of his Rorschach Journal monologues. However whether you get it or not is your prerogative.
great choice of colors.
This is a totally kick butt (keeping it pg lol) picture of Rorschach!!
Really nice. Love it.
Love it! The coloring is a style I've always liked, but it's surprisingly hard to pull-off for me - So, kudos!
Thanks! This was kind of messing with color a bit just to see what happened; I'm still really inconsistent with any sort of ink style. One thing I've found that helps is trying to draw with a white/grey pencil on black paper - doing it "backward" like that really helps give a feel for how light behaves.
I like just 2 colours, gives a somewhat comic book feel to the peice
This is very cool!!
I want this as a poster! Love the colors!
Thanks! I love red & purple for night fighting scenes - makes me think of moonlight & neon. ^^
Wow that looks amazing! Nicely done!
this is really sharp. I love the color choices.
