In Memoriam - Jevine by FugueState In Memoriam - Jevine by FugueState
This is my Aunt Jevine. She called me "Creeks" when I was little. She took me for walks on the beach and would pick up as many odd shells and rocks as I did. She always knew when I was coming to visit because somehow, inexplicably, she'd find a marble in some random corner. She loved to sing, and had a beautiful voice. She smiled and laughed a lot. She enjoyed cooking, and was very, very good at it. She filled her house with wonderful, whimsical things. She helped to shape the person I am now.

Her life ended today. She was surrounded by her family and people who love her, whether they were there with her or elsewhere. I'm going to miss her.

(Note: Many, many thanks to everyone who either visited my aunt's photo or left their kind words for me - you have all helped me through this with your support and I'm deeply grateful. :happycry:

I have disabled comments, not because of anything bad, but because I'm seeing this as a next step. I'm going to keep this photo in my gallery to honor my aunt's memory, but I don't want it to seem like I'm doing it just to get comments. Thank you all again!)
