‘Everything stands prepared’ V spoke, advancing into the darkness, becoming a part of it and of what resided there ‘tonight another falls. Another in the inevitable chain.’

V paused, allowing them to draw closer, feeling himself welcomed by the darkness, by those yearning to touch him, to feel but a fragment of his energy and be reminded for a moment of the light and the world beyond.

‘Ah my Anarchy’ he sighed, feeling their touch, every one of them seeking his strength and lending theirs to his task. Their lights, a myriad tiny fires adding to the bright, all consuming flame that burnt within him, burning brighter and brighter until he felt it would consume him where he stood

‘o beauty,’ he spoke softly ‘til now I never knew thee’
